This scientific study is called “Helicobacter pylori prevalence, therapy success, resistance study” (HelicoPTER) and is funded by the DZIF (German Center for Infection Research). Study directors are Prof. Dr. Sebastian Suerbaum (Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich) and Prof. Dr. Markus Gerhard (Technical University of Munich) – both researchers are also project leaders in the bayresq.net project Helicopredict.
