Prof. Dr. Cynthia Sharma (StressRegNet) receives ERC project funding

We are very pleased to announce that Prof. Cynthia Sharma from the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg has been awarded one of the internationally highly respected ERC Consolidator Grants for 2021 by the European Research Council (ERC), as announced by the ERC in mid-March. The grant for project funding is endowed with up to 2 million euros. Commenting on this high honor for Professor Sharma and seven other colleagues from Bavaria, Science Minister Markus Blume said: “These awards are a seal of quality for the progressive state of Bavaria. After all, the excellent researchers at our universities and university hospitals contribute to solving the pressing problems of our time. As such, they are high-caliber drivers of innovation for tomorrow’s society.” We fully endorse the congratulations of our new minister.
